This is just a reminder that I’ll be hosting this month’s NanoGraz meeting next week on Thursday the 22nd. We’ll be meeting at the KFU’s physics institute (Universitätsplatz 5) at 14:00.
I’m still waiting on the reservation, but the plan is to meet in the experimental physics library which is located upstairs on the first floor (see the attached picture).
Since a good chunk of you received an intro to our group last year when we hosted the monthly meeting, I thought this time we could do a more intimate crash course on optical tweezers.
I plan to give a short introduction on the theory then we can do measurements with “live” samples.
For those that are being introduced to our group for the first time (or if you just want a quick refresher), I’d be happy to give lab tours and an overview of our posters afterwards.
Please let me know by e-mail if you won’t be attending, as this will make arranging the library a bit easier for us.
See you then,
Brian
