Dear members of NanoGraz,
this month it is my turn to organize the NanoGraz meeting. I work in the Nanooptics group of the experimental physics department and I have planned to introduce you to our field of research by showing and discussing the effect of size dependent colours for some selected nanoparticles. In a subsequent lab tour, we will show you some facilities where we can produce tailor-made nanoparticles and examine some of their properties.
Therefore, I invite you to come to the library of the experimental physics department (0005-01-0122) on the first floor of the physics building on May 23rd at 2 p.m.
